Itinerary
Please note that distances and durations are approximate and do not account for breaks or guided tours of sites, parks, and monuments, only the actual riding time.
Day 1 - Kuala Lumpur
Arrival in Kuala Lumpur and transfer to the Sheraton Hotel. For logistical reasons on this tour, participants will need to make their own way to the hotel from the airport. The journey is straightforward and we recommend using the Grab app, which is widely used and reliable throughout the city.
At 4:00 PM we meet for welcome drinks and a tour briefing, an opportunity to get to know each other and go through the plan for the days ahead.
Afterwards we head into the city centre to visit the iconic Petronas Towers, one of Kuala Lumpur’s most recognizable landmarks. In the evening we continue to Jalan Alor, famous for its lively street food scene, where we enjoy our first dinner together. Depending on the group size, transportation into the city may be arranged by private bus.
Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur to Melaka
220 km
Today the ride begins. We start early, leaving Kuala Lumpur at 7:30 AM to avoid the morning traffic and enjoy cooler temperatures.
Once outside the city, the route settles into a relaxed ride along Malaysia’s west coast. Palm groves and rural villages line the road, while roadside stalls offer fresh tropical fruit along the way.
We pass Putrajaya, the country’s modern administrative capital, and ride past the famous Sepang MotoGP circuit before reaching the coast at Port Dickson for a short break by the sea.
Our destination is historic Melaka, a UNESCO-listed town shaped by centuries of Portuguese, Dutch and British influence. In the evening we can explore Jonker Street, known for its lively atmosphere, street food and historic buildings.
Day 3 - Melaka to Kemuning
270 km
Today the ride turns inland, leaving the coast behind as we head into greener landscapes of forested hills and quiet countryside roads.
Possible stops along the way include the impressive Tokong Si Thian Kong Taoist temple and scenic viewpoints overlooking the Semenyih Dam. If time allows we can also visit the famous Batu Caves, one of Malaysia’s most recognizable landmarks.
Our destination is Kemuning Orchard Villa, a peaceful retreat surrounded by rainforest. Wooden houses and a private pool make it the perfect place to unwind before tomorrow’s mountain ride.
Day 4 - Kemuning to Cameron Highlands
Today’s ride is one of the highlights of the journey. The road climbs steadily through dense rainforest and into the mountains along the legendary Fraser’s Hill road, part of Malaysia’s famous “1000 curves”.
The narrow, winding road offers a rewarding ride with excellent pavement and constant scenery changes. As we gain altitude, the tropical heat gives way to the cooler climate of the Cameron Highlands.
The day ends among rolling hills covered in tea plantations, a landscape that feels surprisingly different from the tropical lowlands.
Day 5 – Cameron Highlands to Penang
270 km
We descend from the highlands and continue north through rural Malaysia toward Penang Island. The ride alternates between quiet secondary roads and faster stretches as we approach the coast.
Before reaching the island we make a short stop at Orangutan Island. From there we cross the impressive Penang Bridge, one of the longest bridges in Southeast Asia.
Arrival in Penang, where we settle near the coast for the next two nights.
Day 6 – Penang Exploration Day
Today is a rest day from riding and an opportunity to explore Penang at your own pace.
Options include relaxing on the beaches of Batu Ferringhi, visiting Penang Hill for sweeping views over the island, or discovering George Town, a UNESCO-listed city famous for its colonial architecture, vibrant street art and outstanding street food.
Day 7 – Penang to Ipoh
Leaving Penang behind, we ride through Kedah, a region known for its agricultural landscapes and vast rice paddies.
Our destination is Ipoh, a city surrounded by dramatic limestone hills. Along the way we visit remarkable temples built directly into the rock formations and explore Gua Tempurung, one of the largest cave systems in Malaysia.
In the evening we stroll through the old town and the lively Concubine Lane before gathering for dinner.
Day 8 – Exploring Ipoh
Today we explore more of Ipoh and its surroundings. Highlights may include the mysterious Kellie’s Castle, local markets and historic streets of the old town.
Ipoh has a relaxed atmosphere and a unique cultural mix, making it a great place to spend a slower day before the final ride back toward Kuala Lumpur.
In the evening we may visit a popular local motorcycle bar to enjoy live music and a few drinks.
Day 9 – Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur
Our final riding day takes us south toward Kuala Lumpur along scenic coastal plains and rural countryside.
We pass through Sekinchan, famous for its vast paddy fields, and stop at Bukit Melawati, home to curious silver-leaf monkeys that often greet visitors near the hilltop fort.
Another stop is the beautiful Sri Shakti Temple, one of Malaysia’s most impressive Hindu temples.
In the afternoon we arrive back in Kuala Lumpur where we return the motorcycles and celebrate the end of the riding portion of the tour.
Day 10 - Singapore
After hotel check-in, we begin discovering the city with a short orientation walk and a first introduction to one of Asia’s most modern and dynamic cities.
Day 11 - Singapore City Discovery
Today we explore Singapore’s multicultural districts including Chinatown and Little India, each offering a different glimpse into the city’s rich cultural heritage.
Colonial buildings, modern skyscrapers and lively street markets make Singapore a fascinating contrast to the landscapes we have experienced during the ride.
Day 12 - Sentosa & Marina Bay Sands
Today we experience a different side of Singapore with a full day on Sentosa Island, the city’s famous entertainment and leisure destination connected to the mainland by bridge and cable car. Once a military fortress, Sentosa has transformed into a tropical island escape offering beaches, oceanfront bars, panoramic viewpoints, attractions, walking trails, and lively waterfront areas.
The afternoon is free to relax by the sea, explore the island, or simply enjoy the slower pace after the riding portion of the tour.
In the evening we head to the iconic Marina Bay Sands, where we enjoy a drink overlooking Singapore’s spectacular skyline from the rooftop before heading out for dinner in the city.

Transfer to Singapore Airport for departure.

Malaysia offers some of the best and most diverse riding conditions in Southeast Asia. Throughout the tour we ride primarily on good quality paved roads, including scenic secondary roads, mountain passes, coastal routes, and occasional highway sections used to connect regions efficiently.
The roads in the Cameron Highlands and Fraser’s Hill are among the highlights of the tour, featuring smooth tarmac, endless curves, and spectacular rainforest scenery.
